Monitor your AI.
Not just your servers.
Traditional monitoring tells you your server is up. MonitorGiant AI Monitoring tells you your OpenAI bill is spiking abnormally, your AI responses are drifting from expected quality, and your MCP server's tools are available — all in one dashboard.
AI Token Burn Monitor
Catch runaway AI costs before they become large bills.
Connects to your AI provider accounts and tracks daily token usage and cost. Applies a Rolling Dynamic Average over the last 15 days to establish your normal usage pattern. Alerts your team when current usage exceeds that pattern by a configurable threshold — catching runaway costs, leaked API keys, and unexpected spikes before they become large bills.
| Provider | Data freshness | Status |
|---|---|---|
| OpenAI | ~hourly | Active |
| Anthropic | ~hourly | Active |
| Google Gemini | ~4 hours | Active |

AI Circuit Breaker
Your automated emergency response for AI cost events.
When a Token Burn Monitor detects a spike — for example, usage more than double the rolling average — the Circuit Breaker fires a configured action. MonitorGiant detects the spike and fires your configured action, giving your systems the signal they need to respond. You remain in control.
MonitorGiant sends a signed POST request (HMAC-SHA256) to your configured endpoint. Your server receives it and takes action — revoking a key, pausing a service, or triggering an alert in your own systems.
Ready-made handler code in Node.js, Python, AWS Lambda, and Google Cloud Functions.
An immediate alert email sent to configured recipients with usage details, current cost, and the threshold that was breached.
AI Quality Monitor
When your AI drifts, you'll know first.
Periodically sends a configured "golden prompt" to your AI service and compares the response to an established quality baseline using semantic similarity. Detects when your AI model begins returning responses that drift significantly from expected quality — catching silent quality degradation, model rollbacks, and hallucination patterns before your users do.
Each quality check sends a prompt to your AI provider using your API key, which consumes tokens at their standard rate. The default check interval is 30 minutes — we recommend keeping it at 30 minutes or longer to manage your AI provider costs. You are in full control of the check frequency.
How calibration works
You choose or write a golden prompt — a question your AI should always answer correctly and consistently.
MonitorGiant runs the prompt against your AI endpoint several times to establish a baseline of expected responses.
On each scheduled check, the new response is compared to the baseline using semantic similarity.
As your AI model updates over time, MonitorGiant progressively recalibrates the baseline automatically. Manual re-calibration available at any time.
MCP Health Monitor
Your AI agent's health matters as much as your server's.
Model Context Protocol (MCP) servers power AI agents and workflows by exposing tools, data sources, and actions to AI models. MonitorGiant's MCP Health Monitor performs a genuine protocol-level health check — not just a ping — to confirm your MCP server is fully operational.
AI Status Feed
Know instantly whether a problem is on your side or theirs.
MonitorGiant continuously monitors the public status pages of major AI providers and surfaces their live status in your dashboard. No paid monitor needed — this is included for every user.
More providers added continuously.
Alert opt-in
By default, status updates are shown in your dashboard only. You can opt in to receive an email alert when any provider you select experiences a reported incident — so you know immediately when a problem originates with your AI provider, not your own code.
